Brisket was found on 9/25/2021 under a bush, near the taco truck at Five Points on Woodbine Road. She was very close to the road. Her soon to be rescuer went to get brisket tacos, and when walking back to her car she heard non-stop, very loud meowing. After searching through the bushes she was finally spotted. After looking around for others, it was apparent to her rescuer that she was alone. After several attempts to capture her, including leaving food, someone came to help, and the little kitten was finally captured using some tuna. Brisket was taken to her rescuers home, but she was scared, tiny, and very thirsty. She started acting like a normal kitten in no time and within two days she no longer ran or hid from her rescuer turned foster. Brisket is very playful, curious, and bold. She can be skittish with new/loud noises, but that doesn't slow her down from eating, as she has a very good appetite. She will let her foster, as well as her five year old granddaughters, pick her up and hold her with no problem. She is a very loving kitten, and will sleep curled up next to her fosters neck. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.
