This handsome boy is Bootstrap. He was discovered living next to a junk yard dragging his back leg. His foot was raw! An Animal Allies Florida volunteer who works nearby humanely trapped him so we could take him to the vet. That's when we discovered this so-called 'Feral' cat had been hit by a car, which broke his right leg and left hip and shot in the back! We quickly discovered that this sweet, loving boy is no 'Feral'. We have been working very hard to save his foot through physical therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy and crate rest. We are excited to share that our beloved Bootstrap, who has clearly made himself a Volunteer Favorite, is now healed and ready for the next chapter of his life - a happy, forever home!! His adoption fee is $55.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative) and neuter surgery that is already done. Bootstrap is litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website AAFlorida.org. There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.
